LEADERS WE SUPPORT
The Type of Leadership Alabama Needs for a Modern Economy
Alabama’s future will be shaped by leaders who understand the realities of a rapidly changing economy—one driven by science, innovation, technology, engineering, advanced manufacturing, and digital infrastructure. SITE supports candidates who advance modernization responsibly and ensure that progress creates opportunity for people, not displacement or division.

We do not support leaders based on party, personality, or politics.
We support leaders based on performance, integrity, and their commitment to Alabama’s modernization.
What Responsible Modernization Leadership Looks Like
Responsible modernization begins with leaders who place people at the center of progress. SITE supports individuals who understand that STEM, CTE, and workforce development are foundational to a strong innovation economy. These leaders conduct rigorous due diligence on major technology and industrial projects, ensuring decisions are based on facts, long-term impact, and community protection. They champion advanced manufacturing, engineering standards, and innovation districts, and they invest in digital infrastructure including broadband expansion and cybersecurity as essential components of statewide competitiveness.

We look for leaders who operate transparently, embrace data-driven decision-making, and uphold public accountability. Effective modernization leadership also includes creating local hiring pathways, expanding economic mobility for underinvested communities, and making certain that AI and automation enhance rather than replace human potential. Leaders grounded in these principles are positioned to move Alabama forward with strength, integrity, and long-term vision.

How SITE Evaluates Candidates
SITE uses a disciplined and evidence-based evaluation process before supporting any candidate. We examine voting records, public statements, and policy positions to understand how a leader has historically approached modernization. We assess their alignment with STEM readiness, workforce strategy, digital infrastructure, transparency, and community-centered decision-making. Our review also considers each candidate’s commitment to advanced manufacturing, innovation ecosystems, and long-term economic growth rooted in responsible planning.

Our standard remains direct and uncompromising:
Does this leader strengthen Alabama’s modernization future—and the people it should serve?
If the answer is no, SITE does not support them.

When SITE Makes Endorsements
SITE issues endorsements only after thorough research and verification. Endorsements are based on a candidate’s alignment with Alabama’s modernization priorities, analysis of their voting record and public positions, and a clear understanding of their commitment to community impact. We also evaluate whether the individual demonstrates responsible leadership in decisions related to modernization, industrial growth, and the future workforce. We do not rush endorsements or make them based on political convenience. SITE endorses deliberately, relying on evidence, not pressure, and always in service of Alabama’s long-term success.

Why SITE’s Endorsements Matter
Alabama is entering a decisive decade. Choices about AI, automation, innovation districts, advanced manufacturing, STEM investment, digital infrastructure, and industrial reinvestment will shape the state’s economic future. SITE endorsements matter because they identify leaders who understand this moment, who value responsible modernization, and who recognize that economic growth must be built on transparency, accountability, and community benefit.

Our endorsements help voters identify candidates who can guide Alabama through technological change while protecting community interests. They elevate leadership that enhances workforce opportunity, strengthens infrastructure, and positions Alabama to compete for the high-quality jobs and industries of the future. SITE’s endorsements reflect a single, consistent goal:
to elect leaders capable of taking Alabama into the next era strategically, responsibly, and with people at the center.
